As you can see there are some new names (and an old one - Welcome back Monika, Anna's mum) in the moderator list.
I'm sure the other new moderators will join me in saying a very big thank you to the outgoing moderators who have some very very big shoes to fill.
A little bit about me so you know where I'm coming from. I'm Samuel's mum, otherwise known as Emma. I'm 33 and before I had Sam I was a primary school teacher in Central London for ten years, ending up as a Deputy Head near Notting Hill. I'm now staying at home with Sam and really enjoying it. Sam is just over 18 months old and still a keen nursling. I've just finished training with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (a UK charity) on their 'mother supporter' module. I can't call myself a 'mother supporter' officially yet as it's in the process of being marked and sent back to me! Next I'm hoping to start their training as a full breastfeeding counsellor.
Um...I like chocolate, films, The West Wing and trashy celebrity magazines.
I feel so lucky to be a happy and successful nursing mother. I also feel honoured to be part of this forum. I hope I can be useful.

Hi all new moderators! Nice to have you here!
I am happy to be back from a short term absence. We just made a move from Texas to California. Anna is two years old now and she is still nursing although she is showing me some signs of slowing down. I have two years of breastfeeding experience under my belt and I have been reading a lot of books on the subject as I always do when I am passionate about something. I am also on my way to LLL leadership, just need time to settle down a little.

A big thank you to the leaving mods... my goodness, where would I have been without you great mamas! Where' the hand clapping emoticon when you need one. :-* will have to do.
My son owen is 6.5 months and I've had a successful time bfing and love to encourage others on the same path. Hoping that some day I will be posting in the extended nursing thread.
I love BW and it really brought new life to our household. I discovered around the time ds was 2 months and let me say, I appreciated regaining my sanity (well, most of it. lol 8))
Hope to be of help to the nursing mamas and I also hope to learn a lot.
Thanks for having me.

Hello Ladies I just want to thank the retiring moderators for all their previous advice and help. I hope I can be as helpful to other mummies as they have been to me!
So a little bit about myself! I am Naomi (Nome) mum to Jacob who is nearly 10months old and exclusivly BF with plan continue until around 18months. We live in lincolnshire, uk with my husband. Before Jacob was born I was training to be a nurse but currently have no plans to complete my training.
I am an avid supportor of BW and hope that I can help other mums become sucessful BF and BW

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to Stacy, Erin, and David's mom (whose name totally escapes me, sorry about that) for all their hard work. I don't think I ever posted a question directly but WOW did I learn a lot from you wonderful ladies. I think all of you were one of the primary reasons why I BF for 10.5 months instead the 3 months I was originally planning for. (Didn't quite make it the year, but it's always a goal for next time!) Welcome to the new mods and thanks for being here!
