Title: How to use up extra whole milk
Post by: MomtoRee on February 18, 2006, 01:23:27 am
I usually end up buying a gallon of whole milk because it is cheaper on sale than a 1/2 gallon but I end up with lots of extra milk.  Any ideas on how to use it up?  Right now I make pudding as a treat and make oatmeal.  I bought some bran muffins that you just add milk to this week, but need some ideas of how to use it up.  I just don't want to waste it.  I want things for Reegan, not me.  i don't need the extra calories!

All I could think of right away are:

*Mac-n-cheese
*scrambled eggs
*french toast

How about custard, rice pudding, milk shakes, cheese sauce, bread and butter pudding, pancakes, etc
