Arborio rice - is that ok? I've got some risotto left made with unsalted stock and was going to try it...

Only used it recently cos I've only just discovered the wonders of rissotto, but Holly loves it. I think cos the rice itself tastes yummy cos its been cooked with the stock.

Do you think ok for 7 month old? the same as any other rice?

I'm sure tis the same as other rice, the texture is just different. I'd jsut make sure it was nice and soft.
Is Lo 'chewing' yet? I know its early to be really doing it but does she keep it in hr mouth for a while or just swallow it straight down?

Hi - I tried the risotto and he loved it so I would recommend! I'm trying to get as many meals as poss that I can cook for all of us and can be mashed down for lo. I mashed the rice with a fork and added a bit more liquid. It had mushroom and asparagus in it. Sophisticated baby taste 8) Left out the wine though ;)
