A year for cows milk,
What age is your LO? If your LO is over 6months they can have followon milk.
-
hi hes 1 now so id like to buy and use full fat cows milk rather than formula if its safe to do so of course.
my bm uses cows milk now with her 1yr old - just wanted to know if follow milk was more reccommended?
-
If your LO's 1, then full fat cows milk is fine.

Hi - I could be wrong but I thought your ds was premature? Is that right? ??? ??? Sorry if I am off the mark. :-[ I just thought our babies were about the same age..... I would probably consult your pediatrician just to double check but the general rule is 1 year.

Hi Lucymom yeh he was 9 weeks prem - hes 11.5 months at the moment - i didnt plan on switching him to cows milk for another 6 weeks(ish) but just wanted to know if people preferred follow on milk.

I switched all 3 of my children to cow's milk at 9 mos (on the doctor's advice - I do have larger than average children -Liam is 25lbs) If I had a small baby, I would have waited.
