I noticed something in the schedule sticky above....the toddlers 20+ months old that go to bed at 8:00 p.m. or later wake up around 7 a.m. or later. No one had a toddler waking before 6 a.m. It has me thinking of pushing Carmela back to 8:00 to see if it would help us at all with the early wakings (kind of like that sticky that used to be up before the board changed)......
Is this true for your toddler if he/she goes to bed later? If so, how old is your toddler? Carmela will be 2 next month and I think at 2 she should be able to handle waking up later than 6:30!
Opinions, suggestions, advice???

Khyan has been going to bed more like 8.15pm recently and he went from waking at 5.30am to waking at 6am which is better for me, he has even woken at 6.30am 2 times this week so fingers crossed that it becomes a habit.
I don't know what to say... maybe give it a go for 2 weeks or so and see what happens ! I know that early wakings can make you tear your hair out so hang in there
Big hugs

Henry goes to bed at 7pm - is asleep almost ALWAYS by 7:30pm, usually more like 7:15pm. He wakes normally around 6:45am - sometimes as early as 6am, sometimes as late as 7:30am. On the days I've kept him up until 8pm, he wakes earlier the next day.

Sarah...Carmela is the same way right now. If she falls asleep at 8:00 or later, she is up later. But what I have heard is if you make it the new routine, that their bodies will compensate but doing it "here and there" or every once in awhile and their bodies just aren't used to it and they are overtired.
Not sure at all if that is true, but it makes sense to me...I'll be experimenting with this with daylight savings time, so I'll make sure to tell you all then how it works!
