My DS is 11 weeks old and has been waking up for a long time at the 3 a.m. mark. He wakes up no matter if he is fed or not feed. My pediatrician told me that it is out of habit and to stop feeding him at that time. I have done that gradually and now he is not getting fed at 3 a.m. but still waking. When he wakes he stayes awake for about an hour. I don't think it is really hunger anyway because when he does wake for him morning feed he doesn't take a full bottle, he usually takes 3 oz for that wake up feed and 5-6 oz the rest of the day.
I want to try the wake to sleep method but not sure how I should implement it, suggestions please?
My DS doesn't have any problems going to sleep at any other time during the day. He is on 3 hour EASY bedtime at 6:00 p.m. and dream feed at 10:30. These night time waking are wearing me down! HELP PLEASE!!!

I think my DS is doing the same thing. Think I'm going to try w2s too. i read in the book that the problem could be solved in 1 night but Tracy recommends to do it for 3 nights to be sure. Would love to hear if its works for you! I'm going to see if DS wakes at 3 again tonight and then if he does try it on Tues night. Good luck!
