I was going to reply to an older post about transitioning to a new bedroom that I'd posted on awhile back, but can't remember which one it was ::)
I'm just so excited! We decided to leave the nursery, where Kate's been sleeping in her crib converted to toddler bed, as is for the new baby and move K to a new room and big bed. This past week we painted the walls and set up the bed yesterday. It is far from being completed as far as decorating, but when Kate saw her bed she insisted on sleeping in there for her nap!!!! We quickly cleaned up the tools and stuff we had in there that we were using for the remodel and let her sleep there. She even slept there all night last night! I admit, we had some trouble with her being over excited and she didn't want to go to sleep, kept calling us in etc. But once asleep she was fine! I hope it continues! We were "planning" on letting her slowly get used to playing in there first before trying sleep!
Anyway, here is a picture I took when she first climbed into her bed ;D. And no, we are not leaving the tv in her room LOL! It was in there so dh could watch the race while he was working on the closet, we just didn't pull it out yet at that time the pic was taken LOL!

What a beautiful room! I am so jealous at your easy transition...hope it stays easy for you though!

Her room as gorgeous! We'll be doing the same thing here in a couple of months...keep us posted on how it goes!
