Title: How do I keep easy in a new time zone?
Post by: ginger72 on March 27, 2006, 16:56:56 pm
Hi all,

We live in France and are off to the US for three weeks in May. I'm pretty nervous about how our LO will cope with the flight (he'll be 6 months) as on departure we'll be flying pretty much all day. I'm also not sure how to deal with getting him acclimatised (sp?) to the new time zone. Does anyone have any tips about flying and also how to keep our LO happy when his night becomes day and vice versa. To make matters worse we're travelling from east coast to west coast during the three weeks (visiting great-grandparents)! We're likely to be sharing a room with him in a travel cot (usually he sleeps in his own room which makes life easier for naps and his 7.30pm bedtime).

Any advice will be really gratefully received! Thanks in advance.

I will be flying when my DS is about 8months, I found some websites dedicated to this if you want a look.
