Title: Where do I start?
Post by: a7lyg on April 29, 2006, 13:48:37 pm
Hi ladies, I'm new to this site.  I have a gorgeous daughter who is 4 weeks old today.  I am breast feeding and feel as though I am getting no sleep and no time to myself.  My daughter takes up all of my time and although I've expressed some milk to try to give my nipples a rest, I just don't seem able to get her into a routine.  I have read Tracy's books but am still a bit confused as to where I start and how it all works - can anyone help?

Hi!

I am in the same position.  My little girl is 2 weeks old.  She is lovely!  I wish it wasn't such a guessing game though.  She is now feeding every 3 hours and is doing well.  I am just not sure how to keep her awake? how much activity time she needs? and how to start all this?  Congrats to everyone with new babies.  It is all very exciting!
