Taylor struggles to be awake for two hours for morning A time but can go much longer in the afternoon. How many naps is she getting a day ? I found the best way to extend A time in the afternoon is to go visiting people or go to a playgroup where she can interact with people or babies, then when we've extended it long enough she goes down and naps.

My lo is almost 6.5 mos, and he seems to have no trouble staying up for almost 3 hrs, even in the morning! This is sudden, though. I think 2 hrs in the morning is okay, but try to build as the day goes on. We have found it impossible to keep the late afternoon catnap, so we are down to two naps. I count A time from the time he wakes until the time I lay him in his crib, awake.
