Title: What to feed my toddler when she only wants finger food
Post by: miaria on May 27, 2006, 11:50:00 am
Does any one have any advise I spend my days worrying what to give my toddler for lunch and dinner.  She eats a wide variety of foods however she does not want to sit down with mashed potatoes and veg etc.. she much prefers finger food however I don't know what type of healty hot finger food you could give her for lunch and dinner.  Has anyone got any idea's.  She spends her days eating cheese, cucumber, lettuce, carrots, peas, sweetcorn, bread, grapes etc.. Idea's for hot meals would be greatly appreciated :D

Have you tried cutting strips of potato, parsnip and other veg and roasting them.

Or maybe try cutting the potatoes with cookie cutters and making cute shapes to make it fun.

Thanks for the comment on my boys.

I think roasted veg taste so much sweeter and maybe will encourage your lo to eat them.
