Title: What EASY should I be on?
Post by: piela@us.ibm.com on June 01, 2006, 18:22:18 pm
My 10 week old is eating about 4-5 oz every 2.5 - 3 hours.  Seems like he should be moving more towards a 4 hour routine.  The issue is on the EASY plan he eats, awake time then sleeps.  He wakes up and thinks it's time to eat again and it's only been 2.5 hours since he last started to eat.

Do I hold him off till he acts really hungry?  But then he wouldn't really be doing the EASY any more as he'd be waking up and active before eatting.

UGGHH.  I am trying so hard, but he's fighting me a little on this.

10WO are supoused to be on a 3hr EASY, i think your LO is doing fine, what i did with my DS, was keep him on a 3hr EASY at that age, if he woke up sooner i tried to extend his naps using pat/shush, if he didn-t sleep any more i would just feed him until the 3hr mark, unlesss of course he was hungry a bit earlier like at 2.5hr, but not any sooner.

Hope this helps

How long do they stay on a 3 hour EASY?
Also what is LO and DS.  I've read Tracy's book, but now sure what that means.
Thanks for the note, that helps!
