Title: Pale stools, is on Soy milk
Post by: Debprins on July 09, 2006, 00:59:13 am
I am very confused. My Lo is 15 months and after a continual mucus problem i have substituted her milk for soy milk. I Have an intolerance to milk and am also on Soy.This has eliminated the mucus but now i am dealing with lots of runny clay coloured poos that are escaping her nappy.Could she be intolerant to soy?it has been going on for about 3 weeks when she got a bout of gastro. she has been on Soy for about 4-5 weeks?? I think she may be teething also. I just dont want to cut out soy just yet because it is the only milk she can drink in big quantities. But also cant afford to keep up with the nappies..Any suggestions?
TIA

Many people and babies with milk intolerance also have problems with soy - up to 50%. Have you tried rice milk?
