Hi,
I just wanted to post this schedle and get some feedback as these last few nights DD has had a hard time getting to sleep at night. Typically when I used to put her to bed she would just roll over and I would leave the room..she would then go to sleep! Now, she is not allowing me to leave her room!! Last night I sat in a chair in her room for about 30 minutes while she tried to talk to me and finally after about 30 minutes she laid down and went to sleep... I am wondering if I should increase her A time which means she will be put in bed until 7.30 whereas, she has always been in bed and asleep at 6.30. I am concerned that 7.30 is too late to go to bed????
Here would be our routine.. please comment...
6.30 - awake/bottle
8.45 - breakfast
9.30-11.00 nap
11.30 - lunch
1.00 - bottle
2.30-4pm - nap
4.30 - tea
6.30pm - bottle/bath/massage/cuddle getting in to bed at around 7.30pm
She does have a lovey and she sleeps with a paci, although I do not believe the paci is a prop as she does ot have nightwakings looking for it.
Any suggestions/comments on length of A time would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Natasha

Hmmm as she is 8MO, she migth be getting some separation anxiety, does she cry a lot at nap time too?
-
yes she does cry at nap time too... naps/bedtime seem to follow the same pattern! I thought she was too early to be getting Sep. anxiety??
-
DS started with his seperation anxiety around 8 months. It did make nap times and bed time very difficult.
-
How long did separation anxiety last Tom Tom's mum?
-
If I can remember correctly, it lasted about 2.5 weeks. They do go through their phases.

Oh great!! Flying to England tomorrow for 3 weeks so will have Sep. anx and strange house/bed to deal with all at one time!!!
