Title: Good recipes that don't include dairy?
Post by: etmom on October 06, 2006, 17:15:05 pm
Anyone know any good recipes for a BF mom whose baby has difficulty dealing with dairy?  I'm asking for my sister (have asked a couple things for her---she doesn't have a computer but probably wouldn't have much time to spend on it with a newborn anyway!)  Her dd gets very cranky and since my sister has cut out dairy it's much better.  Problem is, dairy is in so many things.  So I thought I'd see if anyone has suggestions for easy foods on baby's stomach that could also be a treat for mom.

I'm sure you'll see it anyway but this thread looks useful for you:

Another thing she can do is to use her regular recipes and just substitute rice milk for regular milk.  I do this for my son and you can't even tell a difference in the taste!

Here's a recipe website.  You can search specifically for milk-free recipes.
