I am no longer getting notified by email of any new PM's received .Not all topic notifications are coming through either ??? .I went by Gareth's advice on another thread and cleared cookies / files and emptied my cache thingy's .Shortly after loggin back in i got notified on the PM's and topic notifications but now it's stopped again ??? .I've checked my spam and they are not getting sent there either .

Is no-one else having this problem ? It's hard keeping up with the forum i moderate when i'm not getting notified .I am getting the occasional one now . Any suggestions on how to solve this ?

I'm having this problem since the site has come back up after the recent outage. I have my profile set to receive notifications, but am not receiving them.

All is fine for me now , it must have been a sign of the server crashing :-\ .Have you checked your spam folder/file sometimes when the site comes back up the data is not recognised and they get sent into your spam.This happened to me last time we had problems with the site

That sounds like a great idea, but I have no idea how to do that or to even fix it.

When you open your mail box to read your e-mails , you should see a spam folder at the bottom ! There are a few ways of checking your spam folder but i don't know if your comp is the same as mine ? I'm not that great with computers myself :-[ If you find them in your spam folder then click on "this is not spam " and it will put them in your mailbox next time

Well, I turned off my spam filter, but still am not receiving emails. I'll just do it the old fashion way and check for unread posts each visit. Thanks anyway.

I don't understand why some poeple are getting notified and not other's :-\ I thought it would affect everyone or no-one .I wasn't getting them before the site went down , then when we were up and running again i got them for 2 days , now i'm lucky if i get the odd 1

No. :( I had to resubscribe to the threads after the board came back up, and it took until this morning for me to get any e-mails.

I'm still not getting them either, so I may contact a moderator or admin to look at this thread.

Andy had mentioned there were some glitches he'll need to work out, though having just had a baby, it may be a bit till he gets to it.

It may help you to uncheck all subscribed posts and save your settings, then clear all cookies and cache/temporary internet files, close your browser then re-open it. Subscribe back to the posts you would like and then see if you get any notifications. As Nadia has said, periodically check your spam/junk folders to see if any are ending up in there.
If the above doesn't work, then we will have to wait for Andy to go through the error logs, and as Laura has mentioned it won't be high priority just now :) :)
