When I finally had a chance to announce it the site was down. She's 7 months and a week now.
about 1 week or so before she turned 7 months she started to really crawl so she's been crawling a good 2 weeks now. Also about 1 or 1 week and 1/2 before that she was slowly drag crawling. She is also trying to pull herself up and loves to stand if you help her. She's a TINY one with only 17 lbs and VERY SHORT. not sure how short though. I think she's still within the average though weight wise cause I remember my doctor saying something about 18 percentile. MY MOM said be careful because you don't want the walking too soon as they should phychologically crawl for awhile first. Is this true? She is one stronged muscled baby. She's so cute crawling around though.

Yay ;D. congrats on the crawling.
In my experience both my boys pulled up for a long time before walking. #2 still hasnt taken any steps but crawls everywhere and has for quite a few months now.

Yay congrats on the crawling!!
My DD crawled FOREVER before finally moving on to walking months and months later. She was also pulling up for something like 6 months before she started walking (though she did walk later, at around 15 months).
I've heard people argue both sides on the "necessary" amount of crawling that babies need to do before walking, seems like people will argue it either way.
