I have tried to add photos to my posts on my EDD thread, but it won't work. When I click 'post', the computer looks like it's trying to post but then stops and the screen just sits there. The pictures are JPGs, and I've always made sure they are small e.g. the last one I tried was only 65KB. I didn't have any probs before the site went down, and didn't have any probs reloading my avatar when it was back up again - I just can't attach pics to posts.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks...Yours looks fine. It's a jpg, and it's bigger in file size and pixels than the one's I've tried...there must be some setting on my computer that's stopping it working. ???

can you send the photos and we can post them for you until your pc is fixed? I'd be happy to help out

Alisa can you email one of the pics that you are trying to upload exactly as you were trying to upload it, so I can check a few things, one of which is whether or not I can attach the photo myself into one of your posts. That'll be the easiest way to determine if there's a problem with your pc, or the forum software :)

OK, so I attached the pic with no problems, what a lovely pic it is too btw ;D
My first recommendation (as always ;) ) is to get you to clear your cookies & temporary internet files/cache (instructions Here if you don't know how. Once that's done, close your browser and then re-open your browser, once you've logged into the site hit the F5 button to force a browser refresh. If that doesn't work, please post the following information;
PC or Mac?
IE or Firefox browser? and which version (find this by clicking Help > about in your browser)
Anti-virus and/or firewall installed
Do you use other forums other than BW that you have been able to post attachments to since this problem has occurred?

OK, a few other things for you to try.
Add Babywhisperer.com to your IE "Trusted Sites" Tools > Internet Options > Security > Select Trusted Sites (green tick) > Click 'Sites' and add http://www.babywhisperer.com to the list.
Run a spyware/adware check. If you don't have the Ad-Aware SE program then download it from HERE There's even a tutorial page that will appear once you've clicked the download link :)
Log on to the website, and disable your firewall if you are using one.....test to see if you can attach the pic. Don't forget to enable your firewall immediately after testing.
Update your IE. The latest version is IE 7, and it has a new appearance over the old one. If you don't like it you can uninstall it later :)
Try installing and using the latest Firefox browser (Firefox) it's safer and imo a much better browser than IE, but if nothing else it will allow us to determine if the problem is with your browser :)
Let us know if any of the above has worked for you. If not then we'll have to look a little deeper :)

Well, it works with Firefox so I'll stick with using that for BW for the moment.
