Title: sometimes doesn't wake from last afternoon/eve nap

Hi, usually my 4 mos old goes down around 5:30/6 for his last nap of the day. Recently though I had to almost wake him because I didn't want him to sleep too long cause I wanted to feed and get him ready for bed (8pm).

Any suggestions? He usually takes 4 naps a day and the others are around an hour each. Should I be waking him from his last one or just let him sleep?

Hi there.

My little one did that too, I think at a younger age though.  I always woke him, and did what I needed to do (change, feed, diaper, etc).  He usually went right back to sleep afterwards.  Eventually he actually changed his bedtime to 1 hour earlier than what we had been doing.

Don't know if that helps, but there is my 2 cents!

The last nap of the day is just a short nap to get them through until bath,last feed. I wouldn't let it go longer than 45mins.
