I need some outside toy ideas...
our back yard is large and Luke loves to be in it, but there's nothing to do out there. I have a feeling we're going to spend a lot of time out there, but I want it to be entertaining for me (I know, selfish). I bought a plastic pool and 4 bags of play sand along with buckets and shovels but I want the rain to clear out before I put it out there. I also need to get a tarp and some bungee cords to keep the water out before I put it out there.
MIL wants to buy Luke a pool, which I think is a fab idea. I just requested that it be large enough for me to get in it too. If I have to be out there with him, might as well be in the pool, right?
I was also thinking about a plastic basketball and golf set.
Any other ideas?

Last summer I planted outdoor flower pots while DS played around...kept me busy while letting him have much needed outside time...I even let him plant his own "flower pot" with left over dirt and weeds and a stray bud...He loved it..
We also got DS a bubble mower so that he could "mow" with Daddy!
Oh yeah...and my DS LOVED the sprinkler! :-*
loves mud too! ;D

Paint brushes for the water is great! Oh and chalk, it washes away in the rain

We got DS a giant ball to throw around and he seems to love it!
