Title: Is there a problem with the site?

I've been really struggling with getting on here and when I do it is all quite slow. I know of others who are struggling too. We are all fine on other websites. Is there any problem with the site or is it just us?

yup...lots of trouble yesterday...but today so far so good....
(Do you think it's maybe when there's a lot of us clamouring to get on? maybe we overload the system?) Just a thought...

I had problems yesterday as well, today I have gotten on but it does seem a little slow still  :-\

loads of trouble with it for me...takes FOREVER to load up...when I try to post something it closes every window I have open and gives me error messages...it's been horrid... :(

Is it happening again to anyone else??  or is it just me??  the site is REALLY slow again and I am having trouble even getting it up a lot of the time.

ditto...pretty buggy site IMHO of mommie web sites...this one gives me more trouble then any others. :(

I gotta say, in all fairness, this site runs relatively smoothly considering it's HUGE size and complexity.  Not to mention it's still free! ;) :)

I agree with you completely Sue.  And I commend Andy and Gareth and everyone else who volunteers their time to make this site available to us.  They are heroes in my mind!!!

The site is a bit slow these days but I imagine there must be something going on behind the scenes that is being sorted out.

I just wanted to be sure it wasn't just me or my comp.  We have been having some internet issues and I didn't know if I needed to add that to the list of things happening!  glad to know it isn't just me!

I belong to several FREE VERY LARGE groups online and this site is by far the buggiest of them all (sad to say, but true in my personal experience)...I give credit to anyone who organizes & dontates their time, etc...however, when there are issues, the problems need to be addressed, that is what those people are there for. I donate my time to manage two other mommie sites and that's my job to keep things free and running smoothly so that the mommas can chit chat...I understand both sides of the coin. Still doesn't mean this site is doing well...it is for sure BUGGIE :)

Yesterday someone sent a bucket load of email through this server. I'm still looking into exactly what happened but I think I've prevented it from happening again.
