the first time it was funny...not so funny anymore! this is happening almost every bath time. it is like an enema for him or something. thankfully, he's not constipated!
am i the only one? hope this is a phase. he poops, we clean out the tub and then put him back in to get the poopy water off of him. ::)

I'm sorry to say that its quite normal for babies to poop when they are immersed in warm water.. the warmth along with the leg kicking encourages things to move xxx
Theres nothing really you can do but I can assure you that it won't go on forever.. just stay calm.. rinse him, keep him warm and run more water xxxx
Hugs xxxxx

LOL I think it's just some kids. Katie pooped in the bath at least once a week (and I'm afraid to say stlil does on occasion --though not as often -- at 27 months). Allie hasn't pooped in the bath yet (not holding my breath, I'm sure it will happen any day now).

yeah we're normal! ;D

You're definitely not alone as Sam did it twice tonight - thought he'd stopped it because it's been a month since it last happened but oh no, not the case!!!
Deep joy!

;D
we've had fewer surprises lately, but i'm sure we'll get some more poops in the tub!

So far at 8.5 mo DS has not christened the bathtub yet. DD#2 has not done it at all and she is 3.5yo but DD#1 did it a few times when she was about 1yo (she is now 5yo). The last time she did it she was constipated and so I put her in a warm bath to get things moving - my did it ever get things moving ::). She had a HUGE poo (and I mean gargantuan) and scared herself whitless - yes I did mean to say whitless but the other way is also true ;).
I would say that your LO will just grow out of it -however annoying it is ;)

I used to put Riley in the bathtub to especially encourage poops!
