Title: Maple Syrup allergy?

We are guessing Jalyn is now allergic to maple syrup.  On Friday night she had maple oatmeal bread (2 lb loaf with 1/3 cup pure maple syrup).  On Saturday afternoon, she broke out in hives all over her face.  They were gone before bed.

She had more bread Saturday night and broke out Sunday afternoon with hives on her face, arms and legs.  Again, gone before bed.  No more maple oatmeal bread!

She has a few tiny hives today (2 on her bottom, which makes sense as it would be in her "output" as well).  We're watching her....

So strange, she allergic to eggplant and maple syrup  ???  ::)

That is an interesting twosome - eggplant and maple syrup!

My SIL is allergic to quail's eggs which I always thought won the weirdness award.

we have multiple allergies here even honey ,so i would say anything is possible.hugs to jalyn and mammy  ;) know how it feels :-*

Well, we're rethinking the maple syrup thing... she woke up with 2 hives today and then more later.... especially after nap.  Called the doctor, they said they don't need to see her unless it continues for another 3-4 days.  Said it is probably viral and if she's bothered by the hives we can give Benedral... she's not bothered though.
