Healthy Birthday Cake

I am looking for a recipe for a healthier first birthday cake/icing for my DD.  I want her to get messy if she wants but not have all the sugar and calories that aren't necessary for her right now...anyone have any suggestions?

For DD's 1st bday I made applesauce cupcakes (with no sugar) and cream cheese frosting.  She loved it!

I made a banana bread type cake with no sugar.  She didn't know the difference! You can find tons of recipies on the web.  If you want a no sugar cake look for diabetic recipies.  :)
