2.3 year old fighting afternoon nap.

No too sure why? she was taking huge naps 2 hours if not more last week and always before that , I have a feeling it is developmental because she had tubes put in her ears a month ago and now she is having a huge leap with speech. does this happen at this age too? I feel this is WAY too early to give up her nap already. and even if she  does nap she goes to bed easy??


ps. also we took away her pacifier 2 weeks ago she did great after sO I doubt it is that.  ::)

Allyson, is she 2 & 3 months? What time are you trying for a nap? What does her daytime schedule look like?

Still try for a nap everyday & even if she's not sleeping, she is getting some quiet time. Make bedtime much earlier though so that she doesn't get overtired

Yes she is 2 years and 3 months. I think it is teething, because today I gave her tylenol and she konked out. and is still sleeping 2 hours later. I did move bedtime up last night. she wakes at 7am and I bring her up at 12:30 and read books and unwind for 15 min. then nap time after that. ,

Good to hear she is taking a nap. It could definitely be teeth so will pass soon (hopefully).

Ok so it was an ear infection and teething, that explains that. thanks for your help ;)
