25 month old and night wakings
« on: September 26, 2007, 20:10:15 pm »
Hi, my DD is 25 months old and has been in a twin bed for 4 months or so. About a month ago she started waking in the night several times. She wanders into our room, leans her head on my side of the bed and then I just walk her back and say "night night time honey" and she crawls back in and goes back to sleep. It's like she is sleep walking because she really doesn't say much. But she wakes up over and over again. last night it was 5 times!

I am 5 mos preg and dying here! I really want to get some sleep. My DH works night shift so it's just me toughing this out.

For her schedule, she wakes around 6am, naps from 1-3pm and asleep in bed by 8pm or so.

Any ideas would be great!!

Thanks,

Lilysmommie

Personally, I would think it's time to shorten the afternoon nap. I think 1.25/1.5 hours would be plenty to see her through to bedtime. The "robbing Peter to pay Paul" idea  ;)
