Hi, my baby is now 8-months old and wakes up every 45 minutes or so during the night.  I really don't know what to do to help him sleep better.  We need help.   :o

These are the requested details:

How old is your child?  8.5 months
What’s his/her daily routine?
wakes at 11am, eats at 12, naps at 2pm, snacks at 3pm, naps at 5pm, eats at 6pm, naps at 8pm, snacks at 9pm, sleeps at 11pm
How long are naps?  Anything from 30 min to 2 hrs long
What's bedtime routine? Time? Snack, bath, pj's... (rocking, walking, whatever necessary to make him fall asleep)
Do you bottle or breastfed?? Breastfed
How much? or how long? 3 to 4 times during the day (Every hour or so, during the night)
If breastfed.. one side or both?? (at each feed) one side
How many wakes per night? every 45 minutes or so
What’s your LO like when waking at night? How long is he/she up? Cries really loud (like hurting) wakes up when put down
When you go to him/her is she fussing or crying? Or is it a mantra cry? Crying loud very loud
What have you tried to settle?? carrying him around the house, rocking chair, sleeping with us in bed, car ride, stroller...
What do you do for A time and how long is it?
Are there developmental issues such as teething or milestones? Don't think so
Have you introduced cereal? Why, how much, and how many times a day? (for LO’s under 6 months) No
Do they have a prop? If so what is it? pacifier
Do they have a lovie? no

Hi and welcome.
I have split your posts from the support thead and put them into the general NW board so that more people will view them.

I have a few questions for you.

Have you read Tracy's book?  Are you familiar with EASY?
Is there a reason why he is on a wake at 11 and sleep at 11 routine?
Do you have to rock or feed to sleep for naps as well as bedtime?
Is this a new problem?  Does he know how to put himself back to sleep.

I know I just asked a ton of questions but if you give me that information I will be better able to get a grasp on what is happening.

Post back and I will attempt to help you get some sleep.
