i need help about how to get my one twin age 16 months to sleep past 4 am.  i usually pick him up and bring him to bed with us and he lays there for about 45 min. and then we put on a video.  my second twin will usually wake between 5-6 a.m.  if we dont get the 4 am waker, he eventually wakes his brother who sleeps in a different room-,the crying is that loud.  today i've tried to give them only one nap instead of two to see if that shakes things up a little, but i am really worried that it will backfire.  Isnt it crazy that my 16 month olds sleep only 12 hrs a day.  typical schedule;  4 am wake, nap 8:30-10, 1145 lunch, 2-3 nap, 8 bed. or the same with a 5 am wake they always sleep the same hours for naps.

How long has this been going on?  Is he waking from hunger or habit?  Can you resettle him? What happens if you try to get him back to sleep?
