Cross cradle hold
« on: March 17, 2008, 13:44:18 pm »
Is it sad that I am still using the cross cradle hold to feed my 4 month old? I feel like he doesn't latch as well with any other position.  I feel like a looooser..still using this "newborn" position with a nursing pillow.  Am I the only one???  ;D

I used it with my first LO until I stopped breastfeeding at 9 months old.  ;D It was the position that worked the best for us, too.

Still use it here as well.  And I use my knees to support my arms.  I'm more comfortable nursing sitting on the bed or floor with my knees up.

I still use a cushion at almost 10months, by far the easiest way that I can support a wriggly squirmy baby!!

Thank goodness!  It is so funny because my "breast-friend" nursing pillow broke and I had them send me another one.  A friend of mine said -  "You are still using a nursing pillow?"  I thought that was just for newborn babies.  I felt so silly :)
Glad to here I am not the only one.  I just can't seem to feel comfortable using any other nursing position.
Thanks!!!
