He doesn't like to be held while he eats anymore...
« on: March 23, 2008, 23:16:56 pm »
Has anyone else had this happen to them?  Their lo wiggles around so much while holding them and feeding that lo hardly takes anything from the bottle... but when you lay them flat on their backs they chug the food and don't wiggle as much while eating....

(granted ds hasn't really ever liked to be held during his A time... he is very independent... he will sometimes cry if held for too long...)

really weird?  Or normal????

We're going through that now with breast feeding, but at 2 months!?  Sounds like you have a very independent little man to me!

Unless it is a symptom of reflux or gas- being on his back may be more comfortable.

Yup we are going through it too.  My DD prefers to be in the chair so she can look around.  I miss my cuddles.

Watch out for your lo lying flat on his back, try and prop him up a bit with a cushion as it can cause ear infections and also a chance of him chocking.

LOL! Thanks, Heather!

I was wondering where you found your faux tux shirt for your DS.  Jack is going to be a ring bearer in a wedding this summer- I'd love to put him in something like that!
