Michelle, is there a blister on your nipple? Piercing that with a steralized needle would help, otherwise draining as well as you can with your pump after warm compress and gentle massage - don't really go squeezing it too much. Inbetween you want the cold compress. Absolutely the best would be cabbage leaves from the fridge with quark or ricotta inside (I know, I know, sounds awful but it has magic stuff in there that helps) if the smell's too much just a cabbage leaf or if you want to go more hi-tech a gel pad or something.
