Help with W2S

How much should you wake your LO for W2S.  I've done it a variety of times and have been unsuccessful.  Any signs I should be looking for?

You don't want to wake LO at all. All you want to do is make him or her stir enough to change sleep cycles, but not actually wake. How to do it depends a lot on how deep they sleep. A lot of people have had success with stroking their cheek or tugging on the blanket, something like that. Colin is a VERY light sleeper so what I did was literally just turn the doorknob to his room - not even open the door.

Okay.  I wasn't waking my LO.  I tried different levels of stirring him and it doesn't seem to work he would still wake at the 45min mark.  Thanks for the help.

Oh I see - sometimes you need to play with the timing too.
