Hello all, i am posting all over this forum at th moment as i am confused.. it seems the kids days and nights are runnning away on me and i am all over the place. cant think myself due to exhaustion.
So my question here is can people help me put together a easy routine for both my kids.
Sylvan is 2 and a half. Problems include frequent night wakings and new tetchyness doring the day.
Current routine:
7.30 Wake
8.00 Breakfast (doesnt seem all that interested, half eats it, we try variety)
Toilet or dirty nappy (training at the mo)
9.00 Playschool (New, three mornings a week)
11.00 Snack
12.00 Sleep
2.00 Wake
2.30 Lunch- eats everything put in front of him
3.30 Snack - eats a banana and small box of raisins or biscuit or small peanut butter sandwich)
6.30 Dinner
7.00 Goes outside for a walk with dad (dad gets home from work late- they seem to need the time together)
Dad play goes on too long, mum gets cross everyday about this !!)
8.30 Bath and book with dad
9-9.30 messing. then, has the bowel movement that he used to have in the late afternoon and needs to be changed. more disruptuion.
Sleep
12- 2am-3am frequent wakings including screaming and roaring, needs us to go in and settle him.
Bethel is 8/ 9 months old. teething and being weaned onto solids. refuses an alternative to breast feeds. (cup and bottle)
7.00 Wake BF (Not a long one, she has been snacking through the night!!)
8.00 Offered cereal- takes one teaspoon at most)
9.30- 11 Sleep
11.00 probably a 3 0z breast feed, seems to desperatley want it, then starts playing!
12.30 Sleep
1.30/ 2 Solids- eats better
3.00 Fruit smoothie spoon fed.
4.30 Nap
5.30 Breast feed (snack- prob 3 oz again)
6.30 Solids (good at this time)
7.00 bath
7.30- 8.00 Breast Feed (7 -8 oz?)
10.30 Small BF (2-3oz)
Has been woken by her brother at the new messy time between 12-3, needs the breast to settle
4.45 Exactly every night- the habitual wake up, is actually hungry and tkaes a good feed at this time)
How can i tweak this for a more harmonious life..
thanks for reading and considering
