4 Hour Easy Nap Nightmare--Advice Please
« on: June 29, 2008, 22:51:49 pm »
My dd is 15 weeks old and I am tyring to transition to 4 hour EASY. Before she slept two short naps in morning and then always took a 1 1/2-2 hour nap in the afternoon with a catnap and 7:30 bedtime.

Now my dd is sleeping an hour for the first nap and then 1 1/2 hours for the second and won't take an afternoon nap. She stayed awake over 3 hours today after multiple attempts to put to sleep. I also think she may be teething.

Suggestions? Should I wake her for the morning nap. Her A time is 2 hours in the morning and she yawns for afternoon but won't sleep. This has been happening for 4 days and I don't know what to try?

TIA for your suggestions!

Hi there.  Can you post your routine in EAS format so that we can have a better idea of how your day goes?  It might be my Mommy brain kicking in, but I just can't visualize how the day goes.  Once we see your routine, we'll be able to see if we can figure out what's going on.

Thanks! :)

We were previously on 3 hour EASY. Trying for 4 hour but she can't wait longer than 3 hours to eat. She has started waking in the night after sleeping through until 6 am. She woke at diffent times this week and drained a 6 ounce bottle. I am trying to get more in during the day. I dropped the df as she was waking and fussing. 4 month checkup doctor said she needs food because she weighs 15 pounds 15 ounces. Was 9 pounds 3 ounces at birth. She also is chewing on everything and drooling so don't know if teeth are coming?
