Time to drop to 2 bottles
« on: August 10, 2008, 00:06:11 am »
My DS has been fighting his bedtime bottle for a week now and I am wondering if it is time to drop his 3 pm bottle.  He will be turning 1 on August 31 so maybe I should wait, but I hate fighting him to eat.  He finishes about half the bottle.

I think you can drop the 3pm bottle and replace it with a snack.

Hi, I dropped the 3pm bottle when ds was 11 months as he was also refusing the bedtime bottle.

My DD is 11 mo and went 2 bottles a couple of weeks ago and now takes them both much better. Like pp has said, I exchanged the bottle for a small snack, just in case she gets hungry through the afternoon.

We dropped to 2 bottles when DD was 9 months but made sure she had another form of dairy at lunchtime.
