just wondering if anyone knows of any children's books that explain getting on and travelling by plane?  My DS will be 2 1/2 next month when we fly interstate in Australia (short flight 1.5hr) but has never been on a plane before.  Of course we'll talk about it but a book with pictures would be very useful.

Any ideas?

thanks Stacy for the reassurance ... we're an good hour from the airport and unfortunately don't have a reason to go before hand, that's why I thought a book could help. Oh well we may just have to 'wing' it ;)

Hi sonja

Happy to be able to 'give' something back to you after the potty chart ;-)

We have travelled with DS1 ALOT (I am Aussie, DH is British), so he LOVED this book when it was given to him by his UK Grandparents. It is really basic and shows all the steps from arriving at the airport to getting to your destination.

This is the UK amazon link - not sure if it is available here in Oz. If it isn't, could you get a friend or family to send it to you as it is super cheap ;-)

Shell - thank you!! :-* I found it on an Oz online site. I'm sure it will help, Connor is so visual, I guess they all are though.
