Last night i thought i put her to bed too late....gave her a bath and thought it may have cooked her.

Anyways, she's still sleeping.....12.5hrs in.  Unfortunately i do have to wake her today...feeling a teensy bad about that.  Oh well, maybe she'll have a wee nap later??

ya right....day 10 or 11 now.

So, i WON'T be waking that girl unless absolutely necessary!
Wowzers!

She was fine doing the task we needed to.  Upon returning home, she hit/yelled/screamed at everything in sight--peed her pants twice (pretty sure she only does this when tired)--and was just in general, crappy.

At 1pm...let's see....after being up for 4.5hrs....she is now asleep.  I think.  Well, i'm pretty sure.  (it's about 130pm now)

I think i won't limit her nap, except for not letting her sleep past 3pm.

guess she answered my question about whether to wake---only from nap, never from nightsleep---i'm too scared now, lol!

Hi!  My dd is 2.5 and generally still has a daytime nap but I don't worry if she doesn't.  What I've been finding lately is like you, she'll have a 13.5 hour night and not wake up till 830am so i don't bother putting her down for a nap as I know she won't take one.  Last night she slept 7pm-715am so had a 2 hour nap this afternoon which I woke her from.

Now, if only someone could have a word with her brother............!!

phew i got lucky.

2pm...she is now asleep.  so she'll get an hour.

i think we're hovering around 13/13.5hr of sleep needed...if she does do it all at night, no nap.

so 12.5hr night cuz i had to wake her for an appt, 1hr nap.

she's working it all out on her own.  please lord let her wake up a diff person, lol!  she was sooooo bad this a.m, lol!

Woo hoo!!! Glad she fell asleep. My dd did not take a nap today (was in her crib for 1.5 hours, playing!!!). When she doesn't nap, she's pretty good unless she gets frustrated at someone or something and then.... she screams bloody murder. I'm trying to feed her right now so that she can have a bath and go to bed around 5-5:30 pm. I'm planning on getting ds to bed around 7 pm as he woke up early, too, and then I can have an hour to myself (before I start getting sleepy at 8 pm... darn pregnancy!!!!)

Sami, I am also jealous of your 13.5hr nights. If I am lucky I get 11.5-12 with no nap..

yesterday Noah was awake at 4:30 or 5am because of Cohen and did not go back to sleep...he had 1hr20min nap yeserday at mil' house and then was asleep at 7:30, woke at 6:15 am...

and no nap today, I even tried to just let him watch tv in my room--hopeing to go back to find him peacefully sleeping--nope not even that worked...and he is crying over everything.
so I think he needs to go to bed at 6:30pm--fun!
