running out of room at bed time??
« on: December 14, 2008, 02:09:31 am »
My LO has been so easy to put to bed until 3 days ago were she figured out how to open the door to her room, we even have one of those child prof knobs.  She now comes in and out of her room until I put up the baby gate as a consequence.  She then (I think) purposely poops or forces herself to pee her pull up in order to get out of her room.  I'm at a lost I don't know what to do.  Anyone out there having a similar problem??

If she's still in pullups at night I would simply take what you need into her room and change her there.  Unless she has unbelievable bladder control she can only try that trick once at any one time!

We have resorted to the stairgate too as we live all on one level and ds could get up to all sorts if he got out for a wander!

Well my DH decided to put her in undies tonight!!!!  Yeeks!!  we will see.  I don't think she is ready but we will see.  She did her nap today in undies and stayed dry.  I still had to put the gate up!!  Thanks for the ideas.
