He usually will start to get fussy and then yawn and that's when we pack up and start WD. And I know he's definitely ready to go down when he starts "singing" to himself....it's almost like a moan, whine, hum, over and over and over again and he does it as he's going to sleep. I guess we'll just have to keep trying with the short A time in the AM and work from there. Thanks again for all your advice. We'll see how well it goes tomorrow at the in-laws...I'm sure MIL will have TONS of info for me. She likes to compare DS to his cousin (DH's brother's daughter) who was born the day after thanksgiving. She is always asking ,"Does Hunter do this/that? Oh, well Lillian does...." Her big comment the other day, "Lillian is sleeping through the night" (I think she slept from 11 until 5 or 6 once!) And the other big one, "Lillian stays awake for a long time just looking around. She was awake for the past 2 hours sitting on grandpa's lap. She's such a good sleeper." Yeah, so was Hunter until he was 2 months and started suffering from reflux! I just want to tell her, just wait...she'll change, too!!! She's not on ANY sort of routine at all. And it isn't fair to compare a baby to term with a preemie. It's just SO frustrating having Hunter compared to EVERY baby out there. And if I hear ONE MORE TIME how another baby is just as big as Hunter but a lot younger I'm going to scream! "Lilly is almost 8 pounds and she's only a month old!" Yeah, well Hunter is 10 pounds 1/2 an ounce and he's almost 4 months old..big deal! He's a little guy. Oh, sorry for the ranting!!!!!
