Hi,
not sure where i the world you are  but for me the advice re: b/pumps was to wait until you are in hospital, and try theirs, as this is what you will get used to if you have to pump in hospital......then send out your partner to hire the same one. then if you are still needing it go adnbuy one before your hire costs exceed the cost of purchasing, (if you know what I mean).......

For example I was going to buy Avent electric pump, but was told that in my hospital they have Medela. I did have to pump in hospital and then ended up hiring for at home from the pharmacy. I didn't buy it as BF'ing did work out and I ended up bottle feeding fulltime from about 5 weeks  :(

You might want to hire too initially. I don't think that at 28 weeks I would be buying a pump, it could end up being a waste of money...better to try beofre you buy i think ;)

Hi & welcome on board. I used the Medela pump, which I found fantastic - have nothing to compare with though.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, and make sure to REST WELL before your little one comes!

Hi Again, I should have said medela was excellent and they do a double attachment so you can pump both sides.... if you need to ;)
