My 2 month soon is having problems to sleep in the afternoon. In the morning he sleeps well, about 2h naps, until midday. Then, he only do naps of 40 min until 8 pm, when he sleeps until 11 pm, eats again and sleep until 6 am. The problem is that he stay really tired, but can't sleep. I don't understeand. Until 1 month, he sleeps so well, that I had to wake him to eat, and now ... I've tried so many things. Tried to breast-feed each 2h, but I don't have enough milk and need the 3 hours to full the breast. I thought it was hungry, but when I put him in the breast before 3 hours, he only sucks for 6 min utmost. So it's not hungry. What can I do ? I thought that the dummy could be disturbing, but he sleep so well in the others moments. Help me !!!!!!

Hi jujet

Big hugs to you. I understand your frustration. My lo also went through stages of not sleeping well and it can make life very challenging.

Please post your routine so that we can take a look and see where you might need to make a change or two.

OK. this is his routine

6 am : wake and eats

6:30 : sleeps again

9am : wake, eats

9:30 : activity (bath)

10 am : sleeps

12 am : wake, eats

12:30 : activity

13 - 13:30 : sleeps

and then start to wake about 40 mint later and I try to put him to sleep again. When I can't I wait to breast-feed him

15 pm : eats

15:30 : activity

16 pm : sleeps for about 40 min

and then I have to wait to breast-feed him

17:30-18 pm : eats

18:30 : activity

19 pm : sleps

20:30 : eats

21 pm : activity

21:30 : sleeps

23pm : eats and sleep until 6 am

A friend said to me that maybe he is sleeping too much in the morning, and that I have to playing whit him for more then 30-45 min to fatigues him. But Tracy says that as much tired he stays more difficult is to sleeps. What can I do ? Should I wake him in the morning ?
