Milk Intake for 17 Month Old?
« on: July 02, 2009, 02:56:36 am »
Hi,

I am curious how much your LO's average milk intake is per day?  My DS is 17 months old, and he takes about 24-25 oz of milk per day plus water. We live in Dallas, so we definitely need to keep hydrated since it's so hot in the summer.  He eats very well....I'm wondering if I should reduce his milk intake now that he's older?  Any thoughts?  Thanks!!

Hello again fellow Texan.  That seems like a lot of milk, but if he eats well, then why cut back?  I guess I have only heard about milk being a potential problem if they are not eating well.  My DD is 20 MO and only takes about 10-11 oz total per day.

Have a happy 4th.  I think we are heading down to PK for the day.
