you are right Rina, Dh thinks Max is still a baby and often i say for him to take him with him when he watches DS1 at footy training and he says he's too little or its too cold for him, but i think he is old enough for these things, it only goes for an hour! He takes him for small rides to his mums house or to pick the kids up from school but thats it....He needs to realise that he likes to do things like the older ones aswell, maybe i'll search for a post related to what i'm talking about.....do you know if there is one???

I don't, but the easiest way to show your DH that he likes those things might be to go with them the first time or two?

Great Idea Rina, I will give that a go! I am still guilty of treating him more like a baby baby aswell!
He is after all my last one and i want him to be a baby for longer! :) gotta let him grow up i suppose!

OMG i just had the BEST night with Max since he was born.......exactly 18 months ago today :)
I have been putting him down a little later at night so his new bedtime is 7.30-7.45pm so last night i think it was 7.45pm and he didnt settle real easy so i let him have his little whingy cry until he fell asleep, he didnt wake til 4.30am i was sooooooo shocked, this has never happened before, even though its not a full sleep thru i felt amazing! I changed his bottom and gave him his bottle and straight back in the cot he went and slept til 8am.....Great night in our house, i just hope that continues, I know at 18 months he doesnt need a bottle during the night, but I dont mind giving him the one, he is still quite tiny in size, and my other kiddies used to have one a night on the odd occassion.....I'm just So happy with how last night went...hopefully i'm not back tomorrow with a different story! And he even had 18 month immunisation yesterday aswell, so that didnt bother him at all!
Thanks for listening, hope you all are having great nights too!

That is probably WHY he slept, my DS always slept well while recovering from needles.

We had a not bad night in our house, kids went to bed about 2 hours later than normal, got up 1x to DS, gave him nurofen and a drink of water (he is teething) he went right back to sleep in his own bed (unheard of LOL) and then noone came into my room until 6:25am!  With DH away, I got the whole bed to myself, instead of squeezing 4 of us into it like normal!
