45 min should be ok. But at least that way he will have one complete nap in the day :)

Hiya, I am back again with more questions  ::)

Our routine seems to have changed and it looks like this:
Wake: 6.30am
S: 10.30am - 1pm
S: 5 - 6 pm
S for night: 9pm

My LO decided to exted his A's to 4 hours which I was pleased with. He is taking two good naps and has NW and EW if I touch them. So I don't dare unless he is trying to take a long PM nap so I wake him after an hour. However, this A's extention pushed our bedtime from 7pm to 9 pm. LO seems to be happy but I feel it's quite late. Shall I just leave him for a while and enjoy nice nightime sleep?

Honestly that is really up to personal choice.

His night sleep is a little low, but if you have night wakings when you change things, then I guess you could just leave them the way they are.

The main difference of what people would usually do in this situation is cut that second nap to 20-30 min to allow for an earlier bedtime. But, if you don't mind bedtime being later than things are fine, right?

Another reason people cut that second nap would be that your LO is getting over 3 hours of day sleep and at this age the max is usually 3.

What will happen over time is he will up the A time in the morning making that nap later, and then he will run out of time for that late catnap. So if things stay the way they are right now that will be how you get to one nap :)

WDYT?
