{{{{hugs}}}} to you - it's so hard when you're short on sleep!  And I cannot imagine being pg too!

Is he screaming when he wakes?  Could it be teething?  Do you pick him up when you go in or give him a cuddle?  When you lay him down, you want to interact with him as little as possible, just say "lay down, it's time for night night" and lay him down (or a similar phrase that works for you).  Is he walking?

I'm thinking he's in the midst of switching to 1 nap, and it looks like you're in a pattern already of doing a long am nap and a short pm nap.  Does he go down fine for those naps?  I'm also thinking his bedtime is a bit early based on his awake time.  Very few 12mo will do more than a 12 hr night.  So if he's getting up at 7:30/8, you'd want to aim for bedtime around 7:30/8 (12 hrs after wake up).  He may not be tired enough when he first goes to sleep, so he sleeps a bit, then wakes and can't get back to sleep, then gets OT during the night so his sleep continues to be restless.  He also may need some more A time between that last nap and bedtime.

If he's going down well for naps, I'd just extend his bedtime a bit later.  If he's not, then I'd push that am A time out (just 15 min or so) and cut the pm nap a bit shorter to give you more  A time between that nap and bedtime

I would definitely do a short catnap - 15 - 30 min should be fine.  I'm wondering if the NWs are part of the 2 to 1 nap switch.  It may be time to push that morning nap a bit later and shorten the pm nap a wee bit too.  If he's just kind of fussy crying, it's likely not pain that's waking him, and sometimes bubs get all kinds of weird NWs during the 2 to1 switch.  Let me know how it goes tonight with a shorter catnap, that will give us a bit of a clue.

I would see how he's doing in the morning.  You don't want to push it so he gets OT, but if you keep doing early naps, then it will be tough to do the transition.  So tread carefully - if you think he can go 15 more minutes, give it a go.

Do you usually give him a bottle when he wakes at night?  That can become a habit super quickly and bubs will find they "need" it in order to go back to sleep - and some bubs will eat less in the day because they know they'll get it at night.  At a year, he really doesn't need to eat in the nighttime.  I'm just wondering if that's contributing to the NWs.
