Well then the next A time needs to be shorter to compensate.  Can you extend her naps in any way like with pat/shh?  Some sort of APOP?

30 minute naps normally means OT, so you need to get out of the OT cycle first before giving her more A time.

Its almost impossible to extend her naps. She just lays quietly and looks around but wont sleep. After the first nap of 30 mins, in 2 hrs the nanny put her down and she slept 45 mins. Now again she's down for her 3rd nap after being awake for 2 hrs. She looked a little dull so the nanny put her down and she went to nap quite easily.

I know what you mean, I'm trying to get out of the OT cycle. If 30 minute naps means OT..45 mins is UT ? That means this 3rd nap should hv had her awake for longer than 2 hrs close to 2hr 15 mins or 2 hr 30 mins?

45 minutes can be UT or OT, normally it depends on how they wake up (ie crabby or happy) but it seems like your LO wakes up happy regardless!  So what if you went strictly by her cues to decide what A time works?  I think if a 45 minute nap follows a bunch of short naps it would indicate OT.
