It's been about a week since my last post and things are still screwy in terms of sleep here.  I have just kind of given up.  I've decided that he's never really been a great napper (not for any stretch of time anyway) and he probably never will be, as much as I try!  He sleeps well at night for the most part and I am certainly grateful for that.  He is still waking from his nap after various times, an hour, an hour and 15 mins., an hour and 45 mins.....Everyday is different.  I've tried changes in both bedtime and nap time and nothing seems to help for longer than a day or two.  So, I guess I just need to deal with it, not stress over it, and enjoy those few random days that he actually naps well. :-\

Well I know there are a few of us who have found the whole 18mth mark messes with sleep.

I think a lot of the time this is what needs to happen otherwise you become obsessed!!  If it were me I probably would then have a fairly set nap and bedtime to enable me to plan my day.

Good luck hun and I hope things work out for you. ;)
