ok so i am currently working on extending naps - not going well  :'( but how do you gage the time if your LO sleeps for 35-40 mins then wakes then you spend 20 mins trying to extend then you finnaly get the back down and they do another meezly 15 mins = is that two poor catnaps or do you add them together???? I don't get it??? mind you I'm on my 2nd 35 min nap today after several NW so I'm not getting much ???

hi there, well I tend to count only the time spent sleeping as a total, so add them together and also be mindful of the time spent trying to get them back to sleep, its considered A time so add that to your A time total too. if the S time is short then you need to shorten the following A time as well.

does that help at all?
