4 mo will only nap in pram
« on: February 12, 2010, 17:48:55 pm »
hello just been looking for same nap advice for my lovely 15 week old, why is 4 months a bad age and is this why i am on the site lookng for advice? i was having to rely on the pram to get her to sleep as she struggles to wind down (planning to get into nap training once i have had little more sleep) but once aslpee she would be ok for a good 2 x 1.5 hours in the day and couple of shorter. I am really struggling this week and all i am doing is walking - i am turning into forrest gump!

Does she sleep OK in the cot at night?

My DS sleeps in the pushchair for his naps. I either walk for exercise for me, or push him back an forth in the kitchen for 5-10mins and off he goes.

This is my second baby and I'm much more relaxed this time. Naps are not forever, he sleeps fine at night in his cot an his naps are soooo much better in the pushchair than they ever were in the cot.

How do you feel about her napping in the pram?

thanks consmummy, i'm happy with it but just been more testing as normally she will stay asleep once home but recently has been waking, to be honest shes had a growth spurt this week and its affected her night sleep so i think must be her naps too. i'm glad to know that its not just me too, i will try the pushing at home too.
cheers again
