Ok, can you post what has been happening exactly in the last couple of days.  Wake times, nap times, and how you have got him to sleep for each of these.

The routine you posted before looked like he was doing well, having a long nap and sleeping well at night.

I think you may have to sit with him and then use the GW method which is where you get further away from him.  This will take time but if he vomiting during WIWO that isn't an option.

I am still a little concerned though if he has a 3hr nap and an 10.5-11hr night that is still 13.5-14hrs a day which is a little on the high side anyway and you may have to limit the nap.

our last couple of day's routine;

wu: between 7 and 07:30 am
nap: 12:30 to 14:30 or 15:30 (he sleeps 2, 2.5 or 3 hours)
night sleep: 09:30 pm (i put him at 08.30 but it takes 1h nowadays)
he sleeps 9,5-10h at nights, and 2-3h at naps. totally 11,5 to 13h

           * according to an article which i read somewhere in the forum, LOs who takes 1 nap could sleep 2-3h. and this nap period is valid for 07:30 pm night sleep. mine goes to the bed officially at 08:30 and sleeps 09:30. do you think i should limit the nap?

           * you wrote    "I think you may have to sit with him and then use the GW method which is where you get further away from him. " i undrestood that, i will sit for example couple of days with him, then i will move further, right?

Yes that is correct.

I think if it is taking him an hour to fall asleep in the evening then something is amiss. What time would you like him to go to bed and be asleep by at night?

If it's 8.30pm then he needs a 3hr nap everyday really.  If he's doing a 2hr nap you probably want to aim for a 7-7.30pm bedtime, otherwise he'll be really OT by 9.30pm.

our last -perfect routine was; 08:15 pm BF and say lullyby
08:30 put him in his cot
08:30 close his eyes - yes he was an angel :)

i cannot aim for 7:30 pm bed time because i am at home at 07:00 pm :(
our official bed time is 08:30.
he does not sleep as soon as i put him, so how long before should i put him for re-teach? (what time is not too early to play, not too late for OT)

Hi there :)
I agree with Laura. If he is sleeping 3 hours a day and is hard to get down for sleep in the evening it is time to limit the nap. I also think 9.30pm is late for bedtime. How about limiting the nap to 2.5 maximum. If he still fights this I would cut the nap to 2 hours So...
A - 7/7.30am
S - 12.30 - 3pm... or 2.30pm if he fights bedtime
S - 8/8.30pm

How does that sound?

A times vary quite a lot at this age, but it's usually around 4.5-5hrs.
